Cardiovascular Center Expansion
As demand for specialized cardiovascular services continued to grow, the Lake Nona VA Medical Center expanded its clinical infrastructure to support advanced cardiac care operations for veterans throughout Central Florida. Above Group provided engineering services supporting the cardiovascular expansion, helping integrate new clinical environments into one of the VA’s fastest-growing healthcare campuses.
The project focused on creating reliable, patient-centered healthcare infrastructure supporting advanced cardiovascular care, diagnostic services, and associated clinical operations. Because the expansion occurred within an occupied medical campus, the engineering approach prioritized operational continuity, infrastructure resiliency, and integration with existing hospital systems.
