What software tools does Above Group use?

Above Group uses many different software platforms in the services we provide. We use Autodesk Building Design Suite (AutoCAD and Revit) and PTC Creo Parametric for modeling and drawing production in addition to several other specialized software packages for engineering analysis. Some of the other specialized software packages we use are AFT Arrow and Fathom, Caesar, Trane Trace, eQuest, SKM Power Analysis Power Pack, and Visual, just to name a few.

How long will my project take to complete?

Every project is different and has its own unique set of requirements for success. For any given project, the required time for completion will be based on that individual project.

How quickly can you get started on our project?

Most often, we can get started on a new project right away. However, the workload of the firm varies from time to time and can have an impact on the overall availability of our staff. We are very careful to align our teams availability with the schedule of each project to ensure the project can be completed with a high level of quality in the required timeframe.

I am a student; how can I get a few questions answered about becoming an engineer?

Local chapters of engineering societies and organizations are a great resource for aspiring engineers. Organizations such as the National Socity of Professional Engineers (NSPE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (ASHRAE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) are just a few of the organizations that are out there.
